To send a Text Message

Press the mail or envelope key
Press 2 for text and enter the destination extension
Press LS-/<- or LS+/—> to scroll through the messages
Press LS/OK to send

Receiving a Text Message

Press the mail or envelope key
Press 2 for text, the sender of the message will then be revealed
Press LS/OK to read the message
Press LS/OK to call the sender Or
Press the Mute key to delete the message

To use the speed dials

Using the keypad, type in the 1st two letters of the name.
Press LS-/ or LS+/ to scroll through them.
Press LS/OK to call the speed dial Or
Type in the 7001 - 7999 code allocated to the speed dial.

Programming Ring Tones

Press the [I] key
Dial 5
Dial 3
Keep pressing 1 to select the tone (1-8)
Keep pressing 2 to select the volume (1-7)
Press LS/OK to confirm
Remember to hang-up!

Programming Contrast

Press the [I] key
Dial 5
Dial 2
Press 1 continuously to select the contrast
Press LS/OK
Remember to hang-up!
